Aidan's Place Reimagined is an accessible and inclusive playground located in Los Angeles, California right next to the Westwood Recreation Center. The whole site is about 26 acres. It has the Aidan's Place Reimagined playground, the recreation center, a soccer field, a baseball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, barbecue pits, an exercise area, and picnic tables.
Aidan's Place is named after a boy named who used a wheelchair because of a health condition. Aidan's parents wanted to create a playground in Los Angeles where all children and families of different abilities can come together and play. The original Aidan's Place opened in 2002 and was the second fully accessible playground in the United States. The playground was rebuilt with a new design in 2022. It is now called Aidan's Place Reimagined. This playground is supported by Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration and Landscape Structures.
