Considering the fire resistance and the durability of the main body, we choose steel sheet as the core material of Alive for production.

To make curved hollow shapes, laser cutting becomes our best choice for the initial process of steel sheet. Then we bend the steel plates into cylinders, weld them completely and then use the sander to polish and refine the surface.

To get a fine finish for the main body, we use fireproof metal spray paint to make the surface look even and consistent. This also prevent the steel sheet from getting rusty. Also, we use the steel sheet waste from our main body to the decorative geometric shapes around the main body. This saves the material use and at the same time enrich the visual experience.
