A fire pit contains the jumping flame. As living creatures, we run, jump and grow. In “Alive” we explored the meaning of the moon and life, we consider fire as an unstable but attractive beast, and we apply this to the design which brings it alive.
The stones simulate the meteorite on the moon while the fine finish of the fire pit and geometric metal find a balance between order and disorder.

We are inspired by the moon surface, which is mysterious, desolated and cold. We combined the elements of the moon surface with some natural elements which have an irregular shape and artificial elements which have the perfect shape and fine texture.
The final design is composed of 5 parts, while the main body of the fire pit has 3 parts: outer shell, inner shell for containing the firewood and the concrete base to stabilize the main body.
The other two parts form a barrier around the main body: stones taken from nature or construction waste and sheet metal geometric shapes to create visual contrast.
