On 15th April 2025 James Christie and I submitted a Joint Paper to the Ministry of Justice setting out our proposals which we contend could solve the Computer Evidence Problem. We set out the full text of this below. (Additionally James filed a paper of his own in response to the Call, as did Stephen Mason, and Professor Peter Sommer. Sadly Dr Stephen Castell died on 1 April 2025 before he could formally submit a paper. In lieu of this I have cited the last article he published on this topic which I know was intended to be part of a submission from him. All their papers are available on sub-pages to this page). Additionally, Professor Harold Thimbleby has prepared a webpage containing his links to the papers submitted to the MoJ. These papers were debated amongst lawyers and technologists under Chatham House Rules on 2 May 2025 in London.
