Top-down efforts
Contributed to the establishment of a DEIB working group for Grammarly's Language Research team
Collaborated on an Inclusive Culture course for Grammarly's Intelligence Org by customizing materials, developing a course schedule, and leading discussion sessions
Co-facilitated Grammarly's Asian Pacific Islander employee resource group
Served as the student representative on the inaugural Berkeley Linguistics climate committee to identify and resolve bias and inequity issues in departmental processes
Bottom-up initiatives
Started a grassroots DEIB working group with cross-organizational Grammarly team members to solicit and log instances of microaggressions, bias, and inequity
Collaborated with Grammarly managers and human resources partners to develop short-term team-specific DEIB goals
Created and shared out a DEIB report template for Grammarly teamsÂ
