THE PROCESS:
I cut out each part from templates.
I glued the handle templates onto Sika block using spray mount.
I glued the part that holds the blade onto PVC, then cut it with a scalpel.
Using a bandsaw, I cut the handles about 4mm around the template.
I drilled a hole where a bamboo stick would fit securely but still allow movement.
I taped the handles together and aligned the holes for the bamboo stick.
I sanded all parts evenly with different grits of sandpaper (80p to 400p) and rounded the edges.
I painted the handles brown with black streaks and varnished them,
painted the blade black with silver details, and varnished it with clear nail varnish.
I painted the PVC and bamboo stick a brass colour.
I etched my name into the razor using a 3D laser.
Finally, I glued everything together with Superglue.
