"ALICE Autism Care" is a part of the non-funded research and development project conducted to spread awareness and educate people about effective communicational skills to interact with autistic people so that it eventually serves the aim of reducing the communication gap between individuals with and without autistic personalities. This research project is approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Wright State University.

The participants of this research will go through mainly two learning sessions (i.e., Direct/Action-based Communication Session and Nonverbal Interfering Behavioral Communication Session) followed by the survey in this research application (i.e., ALICE Autism Care). The data we collect through this research application (i.e., ALICE Autism Care) is for study and analysis to enhance our products and measure the effectiveness of such training modules to serve our society. Importantly, some of the direct identifiers which includes First Name, Last Name, Email Id, and Contact Numbers will NOT be asked in this application. All the information we collect through this application remains anonymized. The collected data may be used in future research projects and publications (e.g., conference and journal paper publications).

To participate in this research, participants need to download the "ALICE Autism Care" application from App Store or Google Play Store. The links to download the application are provided on our home page. Participants can use supported iOS or Android device such as iPhone, iPad, tablet, and Android phone to participate in the research.

Any individual’s decision to participate in this research is completely voluntary. The participant's responses will remain anonymous. The participant is free to stop participating in this research at any time.

The participants who take part in the research must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

The participant's age must be greater than or equal to 18 and less than or equal to 100.
The participant must be present in the United States of America during their participation in this research.
The participant must not have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The participant must not fall under the category of the vulnerable population.
The vulnerable population may include "Prisoners, Pregnant Women/Fetuses, Children/Neonates, Cognitively/Dicisionally impaired adults, Undocumented Immigrants, Illiterate individuals, Individuals experiencing addictions/substance abuse, and Domestic violence victims".
