The Google Digital Marking & E-Commerce Profession program, provided an activity to create a mock-up design for a campaign, National Pet Day, incorporating an offer indicating a 25% off their entire purchase.
This project required using a third party to illustrate the campaign. Fortunately, I have proficient background utilizing this tool to create posts for each of my projects, such as LawbyMarc, & You Are Home Foundation.
Google Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Profession Program defined performance goal as a target with measurable numeric value. Performance goals can apply to marketing goals or specific campaigns in a media plan. This knowledge allowed myself to further scale the You Are Home Foundation. I analyzed the reports provided by Hootsuite to determine the success of each post/campaign was disseminated.
Although there is room for growth, it portrayed a powerful tool behind how marketing is achieved.
This course provided more in-depth knowledge of the 5 core pillars of Social Media Marketing: planning and publishing, listening and engagement, analytics and reporting, and paid social media. Google Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Profession Program helped introduce tools to manage social media planners. This assisted myself in considering certain factors: date and time the post will be going live; the topic of the post; the platform where the posts will be published; the posts written copy; links to any assets, such as photos or videos; and any related documents or information.
During the program, I was introduced to Hootsuite, MailChimp, and many others, to plan and coordinate my postings for You Are Home Foundation. This tool itself, is time efficient, and effective in identifying ideal times to post based on previous posts success.
