I chose this shape especially because it doesn't have a lot of complexities and allows a lot of different size mobiles to be placed on it - inspired by online samples and added a short cut of my name AI

I Use fusion 360 software this week to draw the required exercise and also to design a phone holder that will cut by the laser cutter machine
the materials We use in laser cutter machine is plywood

I drew the dimensions according to my phone on a sheet of paper and then I started designing the assignment on fusion 360 software and transferring these dimensions from the sheet to the software
I divided the holder design into two parts bottom section and upper section, bottom section which is the part responsible for the upper section of the phone does not fall , upper section which is the phone case and written on it a short cut of my name AI
Make a hole to enter the screw responsible for fixing the upper section with the bottom section and make a square hole to enter the wire of the charger under the upper section
and I assemble together the upper section with bottom section by making t-slot in design
After finishing the design, I extruded the parts to turn them into 2.5D parts (Distance 3 mm)

After completing the design of the phone holder on the fusion 360 software, the design is saved in DXF format then we take this design and put on laser works program and adjust the settings for the cut - scan (cut speed is 25 power is 65 ,scan speed is 300 power is 25 ) then download of the file to laser cutter device but before that must go to the laser cutter device and adjust some things on it
1.move the machine head to the top-left corner of the machine.
2.Checking machine focus by pressing the Pulse button for less than a second.
3.Set the effective cutting area for your job. This can be done by moving the laser pointing nozzle to the top-left point of the cut area you’ll be using and pressing Origin
4. Now We’ll make the machine move like it’s cutting a rectangular piece of wood that can contain our design size but without emitting a laser and this to make sure that the effective cutting area will be capable of containing our design.
5. You can also Calculate the estimated working time for your job.
6. Close the Laser Cutter lid door. and Now you can run the job

First, I ask my peers if they didn't have the answer I go to the instructor
I stopped in (bow sketch ) in the exercise sheet because she has a lot of Angles and missing dimension but the instructor help me to solve these difficulties

the exercise this week was to draw catapult which consist of 6 parts and this was very fun exercise and i learn a lot of it
- Pre-activity was about 3 dimensional vase fabricated by laser cutter machine
