The mission of the Alhambra Council Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to help every child reach their potential by empowering and engaging families and communities to advocate for children. The PTA works to improve the educational experience for students by collaborating with the Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD), teachers, staff, and parents.
The PTA's activities include: Recruiting and coordinating volunteers, Organizing parent education events and workshops, Bringing parents together to share ideas, and Sponsoring programs and activities to enhance learning.
You can join your school's PTA by paying annual dues at https://jointotem.com. You don't need to volunteer to support the PTA, but studies show that children's academic success and self-esteem increase when parents are involved in the school.
