The Workshop on Algorithms, Learning, and Games (ALGA) brings together researchers from academia and industrial research interested in problems at the intersection of algorithms theory, game theory, and machine learning. The topics include:
Algorithmic Mechanism/Contract/Information Design
Learning and Optimization in Games and Markets
Fair Division and Algorithmic Fairness
Artificial Intelligence and Games
Online Selection and Matching
Applications of Algorithmic Game Theory to Online Markets, Cryptocurrencies, and GenAI.
The technical program will feature invited talks by leading experts in the field, along with spotlight presentations and poster sessions for junior researchers. The workshop will last five days, with a different theme each day, leaving ample space for discussion and collaboration between the participants. One of the days will host the StefanoFest to celebrate Stefano Leonardi's 60th birthday.
After the success of the first edition of the workshop on Algorithms, Learning, and Games (ALGA) in 2023, the second edition of the workshop will take place in Villasimius, a beautiful location on the coast of Sardinia (Italy).
The workshop will span five days, from Sunday June the 8th, to Friday June the 13th.
Logistics
The workshop will be hosted by VOI Tanka Village (Villasimius, CA), a resort in Villasimius - Cagliari, Sardinia. Approximately 31 miles from the Port of Cagliari and Elmas Airport in southern Sardinia.
The workshop is invitation-only due to space limitations. We hope it will be possible to accommodate all the requests; otherwise, we will give precedence following the confirmation order up to the capacity limit of the facility hosting the workshop.
All participants are expected to stay at the Tanka Village Resort on a full-board basis, as alternative accommodations are not permitted by the workshop facility.
The OIC Group will help with some organizational aspects of the workshop. Participants are encouraged to whitelist the dedicated email address registrationalga@oic.it.
Schedule
Each day will include invited presentations, poster sessions and lightning talks for junior researchers. A detailed schedule will be shared here once it is finalized.
