Bandwidth Meter is developed by AlfaCoder Studio as a lightweight utility application that displays real-time internet speed and data usage information in the notification panel and status bar.

We respect your privacy and design this app to operate with minimal permissions and without collecting personal data.

Information We Collect

Bandwidth Meter does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information:

The app works locally on the device and displays network statistics only.

Notification Permission

Bandwidth Meter uses notification permission to display:

• real-time upload speed

• real-time download speed

• current connection information

• data usage status

These notifications appear in the notification panel and status bar for user convenience.

The app does not use notifications for advertising or tracking purposes.

Location Permission

Bandwidth Meter may request Location Permission only to detect and display the connected Wi-Fi network name (SSID) in the notification panel.

Android requires location access to read Wi-Fi network identifiers.

Bandwidth Meter:

Location permission is used strictly for displaying Wi-Fi connection information.

Bandwidth Meter may request Usage Access Permission to display:
