What roles and responsibilities does the Azur support team have?
The Azur support team has taken over all the functions previously handled by the former administration. Their responsibilities include working directly with the community, reviewing player reports, collaborating with content creators, moderating the official server, and handling several other operational tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of the community.
What is the difference between the Administrator role and the Support role?
Currently, members with the Administrator role are not responsible for managing the server on a daily basis and only occasionally act as moderators. The Support role, while technically having the same permissions as the Administrator role, is actively responsible for community management and carries out most of the work related to server operations and player interaction.
What is the main purpose of the support team?
The support team is structured to ensure both the availability and quality of customer service. They have adopted many effective practices from the previous administration while refining aspects that required improvement. The team continuously seeks new ways to enhance efficiency and improve the overall experience for the community.
Who are the support team members and how many people are part of the team?
The support team is composed of ordinary individuals who are involved in multiple projects and provide customer service across them. Due to internal regulations, the exact number of team members is not publicly disclosed.
Is the support team Russian or international?
The team is international. It includes members from Russia as well as representatives from other countries, such as Austria, Turkey, Poland, and more.
[Autobiography written in October 2023]
I don't think anyone will be really interested in reading my autobiography, but for those who want to find out who is hiding behind the nickname B1bo, which is seen by all those who ask questions on the Discord servers KUBOOM and POLYWAR, I'll tell you a little about myself.
My name is Artem, I'm from Russia, I'm 16 y.o and now I'm in the last grade of high school. I joined KUBOOM in 2017 as a regular player and just enjoyed the game with my friend. In 2019, a post appeared in the official VK group of the game with a link to the closed beta testing chat, and I followed this link - we can say that my journey to who I am now began here. On February 10, 2020, I got the role of admin on the server and the 5th year as I am here will soon begin. My main duties include responding to questions on the KUBOOM and POLYWAR Discord servers, solving game and account problems, and checking reports on cheaters. Additionally, I oversee server moderation, give out roles to Content Creators, and other minor tasks.
I tried to fit the most interesting information here and not stretch the text too much. As my English teacher taught me to complete such letters, that's all I wanted to say!
I am the only one who answers questions and does all the server business, and besides that I have a personal life and all its charms, so sometimes I may not answer for a relatively long period of time. However, I try to do this at least once a day on the server and as soon as I have the opportunity, in the DM.
I will talk about the very beginning of the game, as I think it will be the most interesting. Also, I don't think the text needs to be stretched, so this will be a short story.
So, 5-6 years ago [this text written in 2021] our company had a popular game - Madness Cubed. At that moment Nikita (now a developer) was playing this game with his friends and had fun in it.
A year later, the usual children's fun turned into something more and Nikita became the administrator of this game. He came up with ideas for development, tested updates, and along the way started learning programming (I want to note that at that time Nikita was in high school!)
Long and hard work paid off - the main developer and CEO of NBSH invited Nikita to do his own project. In 2016, the history of KUBOOM began.
At the very first stages, the game looked completely different, but over time, the approach to game development has changed, and for more than 5 years Nikita has been trying to implement ideas and suggestions from our players.
The development is carried out by Nobodyshot. Azur Publishing helps us with analytics, testing, and game promotion, but does not participate in the development.
Albatya.
Reson is the creator of the game.
The name was invented by the developers and it doesn't have any special history. I'll only say that we used to have a game called "Madness Cubed" (Kubezumie in Russian) and the name "Kuboom" could have come from this game.
Unfortunately, due to the huge number of tasks that developers need to complete, they have to allocate time in order of priorities. Also, we don't have the amount of resources that would allow us to work on two projects at once and at the same time maintain the high quality of the product.
Skins published on the market are automatically removed from sale and returned to the seller's inventory if no one has bought them in 60+ days.
The content of the market and its prices are regulated by the players. We can interfere with its work in rare cases, and usually it's decided by the developers.
It is possible to get an approximate idea of when an account was created by looking at the first two characters of the account ID:
16 ~ 2017–2018
17 ~ 2018–2020
18 ~ 2020–2022
19 ~ 2022–2024
1A ~ 2024 and later
Important: this information is not entirely accurate. In some cases, new accounts may receive IDs starting with 16 or 17, even if they were created more recently. Therefore, the list above should only be used as an approximate reference. The exact registration date can only be confirmed by the game administration, as well as the assignment of special titles such as "Old."
The minimum number of rating points required to achieve the "Legend" rank depends on the rating of the 100th player in this top.
Unfortunately, the global chat will not be returned to the game. Alternatively, the game has a clan chat, and you can also find friends on this Discord server. The global chat was deleted due to its uselessness and other difficulties - for example, moderation. We don't have the capabilities to moderate the global chat 24/7 (keep in mind that the chat is divided by languages, as well as the fact that the chat of guest accounts is separated from other players), and besides moderation, it created more problems than buffs, so it's very unlikely that it will be returned to the game.
If the Melee Bottle does not appear in your inventory, try the following steps:
Equip the character Boris and re-enter the game.
If the bottle still does not appear, play 1–2 matches and check again.
If the issue persists after these steps, please contact support and provide your account ID so the problem can be investigated.
Fractals, AK-47 Dragon, Scar Imposter. On holidays (Halloween, New Year), developers add themed skins to this list.
You can use any of your Google accounts. To do this, you need to do several things:
1. Completely close the game
2. Go to the application "Play Games"
3. Three dots in the upper right corner -> Settings -> Select account for games -> KUBOOM -> Change. In the menu that appears, select the desired account and enter the game
The Mobile and Steam versions of the game are completely separate. They do not allow cross-play, meaning players on one platform cannot play with those on the other. In addition, accounts cannot be transferred between Mobile and Steam, so progress, items, and data remain exclusive to the platform where the account was originally created.
The transfer process takes a lot of time and exists for those players who have a good reason for the transfer (for example, changing the device from Android to iOS, losing the old account). So be patient and wait.
Now there are two options for transferring progress:
1. Full - after that you can continue playing on your old account. In this case, the game ID and all progress will be the same as it was on the old account. The progress of the new account will be lost.
2. Partial - I'll transfer only part of the progress from your old account to the new one. In this case, you will continue to play on your new account with its ID and progress, but the progress of your old account will be added to it. List of items that I transfer when partially transferring: all supplies, all weapons with skins and modules for it, all characters and their fragments, other items of clothing.
Also a few things you need to know:
1. Before I transfer your progress, you will need to answer a few questions about your old account so that I can be sure that it belongs to you. The questions are easy and you can easily answer them if the account is really yours.
2. After the progress is transferred, your old account will be banned so that the progress is not duplicated.
To do this, you will need to provide us with the following information:
1) ID of the game account, access to which you have lost.
2) ID of the game account to which you want to transfer your progress.
Also, after providing this information, you will need to answer a couple of questions so that we can verify that the account belongs to you.
We can only transfer accounts from the mobile version (Android - iOS - VK)
It is possible to recover a deleted account. To request recovery, you will need to provide the following information: the game ID of the deleted account and the current game account ID you receive when logging in with the same method previously used on the deleted account. These details must be sent directly to Azur support via DM.
If you purchased an item but it did not appear in your account, please send the following information to Azur support via DM: your game ID, the exact date of purchase, and a screenshot of the payment receipt sent to the email linked to your Google account.
The crown is given only to some players who help the game develop - test updates/upload good videos/etc. There is no specific way to get the crown.
To receive the Content Creator role, you need to produce original, high-quality, and engaging content for the game. This includes well-edited videos and appealing thumbnails. Ordinary gameplay clips set to music are not considered sufficient; content should have a unique or creative element. The role is intended for creators who genuinely enjoy making content for their audience, not to gain preferences from the game administration. Your videos should not include guides for exploiting bugs or unfair advantages in the game.
If you believe your content meets these criteria, send a link to your channel along with a request for the role in the support channel on the official Discord server. The administration will review the quality, creativity, and editing of your videos, and assign the Content Creator role if everything complies with the standards.
To receive the YouTuber keychain and title, you must meet the following requirements. Achieving all of these criteria grants Level 5 Support:
Receive the YouTuber title and keychain, if not already obtained.
Receive 3,000 rubies, 4,500 keys, and 15,000 bucks.
Choose 1 character of your preference.
Obtain 3,000 rubies and 4,000 keys monthly as promo codes for giveaways among subscribers.
Select 5 skins when a major update with new skins is released.
These rewards are given as a sign of gratitude for the dedication of Content Creators and their contribution to popularizing the game. The main motivation for creators should be providing content for their subscribers, not solely to receive titles or other rewards from the administration. For more information, you can read the form data.
Overview
Becoming a game tester is not an automatic process. Testers play a critical role in improving the project by helping developers identify bugs, analyze issues, and test new updates at an early stage. For this reason, the selection process focuses on commitment, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate clearly with the development team.
Role of a Tester
Testers participate primarily in the closed beta, where they actively test new versions of the game immediately after release. Their main responsibility is to detect bugs, analyze how and why they occur, and report them in a clear and structured way so developers can quickly understand and fix the issues. This work directly contributes to the stability and quality of future updates.
Language Requirements
One of the main challenges in expanding the tester team is the language barrier. The development team communicates in Russian and often needs to explain complex technical details during testing. These explanations may lose accuracy when translated, which can lead to misunderstandings. For this reason, most testers are Russian speakers. Players who do not speak Russian must be prepared to write bug reports in Russian, using either their own knowledge or a translator, and to clarify any misunderstandings that may arise during communication.
Selection Criteria
Testers are selected from players who demonstrate strong analytical and research skills during the open beta tests. This includes consistently reporting bugs, providing detailed and useful feedback, and showing a genuine willingness to help the project on a voluntary basis. Meaningful and high-quality contributions during multiple open beta tests significantly increase the chances of being noticed and considered for the closed beta.
Evaluation Process
Bug reports submitted during open beta tests are a key factor in evaluating a player’s suitability for the tester role. Without such reports, it is not possible to assess the analytical, systematic, and problem-solving skills required for participation in the closed beta. Players who have not yet submitted reports are therefore encouraged to become more active in future tests.
Invitation to the Closed Beta
There is no direct application process. If additional testers are needed, the team will announce it through official social media channels. Players who have proven themselves during open beta tests may then be invited to join the closed beta and work more closely with the development team.
Motivation and Responsibility of a Game Tester
Becoming a game tester should not be viewed as a role intended to satisfy personal needs for status, recognition, authority, or similar forms of self-validation. The tester position exists exclusively to support the development process and improve the overall quality of the game through careful analysis, consistent bug reporting, and clear communication with the development team. Testers are expected to act professionally, objectively, and responsibly, focusing on the project’s needs rather than personal ambitions or visibility within the community. Any attempt to use the tester role as a symbol of prestige or influence contradicts its purpose, as testing is a voluntary responsibility aimed at contributing to the project’s long-term success, not a privilege or a measure of social standing.
Assista o tutorial em português de como denunciar hacker aqui.
Here (Cheaters channel from the official Kuboom server on Discord), you can leave a report about a suspected player using cheats, so that the administration team can ban them.
Your report should contain:
1) Video recording, which clearly shows the use of cheats by the player.
2) Console log - Entering the "plist" command into the console (it is desirable to demonstrate the command input on the video).
Template for filing a report:
1) Link to the video confirming the use of player cheats:
2) Cheater ID:
3) Your ID:
4) Timestamps:
Rules on Reporting:
- The report must be made strictly according to the template above.
- Reports without evidence will be deleted due to lack of evidence.
- Any revision of the evidence, as well as the revision of an already sent complaint, is prohibited.
- There must be sound on the evidence.
- It is forbidden to provide video recordings with a quality lower than 720p.
- If there are violations in the report on your part, you can also be punished.
- Video recording must be at least 30 seconds long.
- If the video is more than 30 seconds long, enter the timestamps (if not, then no).
- Note that You can be punished for trying to deceive the administration team.
- It is strictly forbidden to submit reports from third parties. All reports must be submitted personally by the player who discovered the cheater in the match.
- Any editing of the evidence base is prohibited (video editing, photo cropping, overlaying special effects).
Awards:
For one accepted report, you will receive 40 keys. If your complaint is accepted, you will be notified in this channel.
I (AlexSU7) have put together a detailed guide on how to report hackers in Clan War mode here.
To consider taking action against any clan I need:
- Recording of the entire match + timestamps of all moments where it is clear that the clan uses bugs/cheats
- Screenshot of the console, with the command "plist" entered during the match
- Screenshot of the clan profile using bugs/cheats
- Screenshot of the CW history of this clan
The use of third-party software on any of the accounts leads to the ban of all other accounts, including the main one, if it is proved that all these accounts belong to a person convicted of using third-party software.
I left this message in the description of all the clans whose rating was lowered due to the use of bugs/cheats/transfer of the rating in CW mode.
The clan rating system works like this:
If the TOP clan loses to the NOOB clan, then the TOP clan will receive a minimum rating, and the NOOB clan will lose a minimum rating.
If the NOOB clan wins the TOP clan, then the NOOB clan will receive several times more rating than usual, and the TOP clan, in turn, will lose several times more rating.
TOP clan: a clan that is in the top and has a large number of ratings
NOOB clan: a clan with less rating.
Bugs can be reported by sending the playback algorithm along with screenshots or videos of the issue directly via direct message or through the support channel. The playback algorithm refers to a specific sequence of actions that consistently triggers the bug. If the reported bug is considered critical to the game, a reward may be granted. Serious bugs should be reported directly to administrators. Minor bugs, however, are not eligible for rewards.
This message is from an anti-cheat system, indicating that the player was moving too quickly or staying in the air for an extended period. Sometimes, this can be triggered mistakenly.
There are several secret weapon skins in the game. For clarity we will divide them into two categories:
1) Simple secret skins;
2) Personal secret skins.
- The first category includes such skins as: AK-47 "GOLD", AK-47 "Skull", AK-47 "Dragon" etc.
- And the second will include the following skins: AK-47 "PussyB1bo", Famas "Deadly", M4A1 "Alexa".
Skins from the first category can be bought on the in-game market (some skins are not always available for sale). Personal skins, in turn, cannot be obtained.
AK-47 "Sanya" and RPK "Anime" were also personal skins in the past, but for some reason they ceased to be such and appeared on sale. In the case of G36C "Dominirov", its owner tried many times to sell his skin for real money in secret from us, so we decided to make this skin exclusive, but not unique.
This set was introduced as part of a promotional initiative with CyberHero partners, in collaboration with MegaFon. Although it was intended for implementation, the necessary rules for obtaining the set were never defined by MegaFon. As a result, the items from this set remain unavailable. This collection was officially disabled in Kuboom update 7.54.
There are eight keychains: YouTube, MedalTester, Pumpkin, Heart, MegaFon, CYBERHERO, Snowman and Magic.
This keychain and head can be purchased in a special offer that is available for Halloween. The price is different for each country
This is the personal breloque of one of our testers. Personal items are received by some testers who have been helping us develop the game for a long time.
Can be obtained in post-battle cards or contracts in the New Year.
Players who wish to receive the "Old" title in Kuboom can submit their Game ID through the support channel on the official Kuboom Discord server. Each request is reviewed individually to determine eligibility. While no guarantees can be made, accounts that were registered in 2019 or earlier have a high chance of qualifying for the title. When submitting a request, players should clearly state that they are applying for the "Old" title and include their Game ID in the message.
Previously, this hat could be purchased for 3000 bucks and was available to obtain via contract on Christmas 2023.
