visit immediately and feel the sensation

The main reason to come to Ketambe is to do a trekking into the Gunung Leuser national park, to enjoy of the very diversificated fauna and flora. And for sure, I gonna try to find Orangutangs, because there are no guaranty to find them. But trust me, I will do my best !
For your trekking trips, you can have a lot of fun a adventure whatever you want to chose between our packages 1,2,3,4,5 to 10 nights.

1 day trek

For a one day trek, only one guide is coming with you. We will start walking from the guest house at 9 AM, it's 15 minutes on road until you arrive into the jungle.

We walk 3 hours in Oranguntangs area.

Than we have a lunch break for 2 hours, near the river. So you can enjoy of a swim.

In the afternoon, we follow our trekking looking for animals, and other beautiful nature in the jungle.

And we will come back at 5/6 PM at the guest house.

In days 2 or in second trips on tracking

after breakfast prepared for you by our chef, we will cross the river to go to the hotspring campsite, the campsite is also situsted next to the river but this time it`s a mixure of hot and cold source of water, a nice Natural SPA. once on site , you will enjoy a deliscious indonesia launch before building the tent where we will spend the second night. for the swimming in the hot/cold water or continue the tracking for discovering the wild life of the jungle.
To reach the camp you will climb and descend through the jungle and you will have the chance to see monkeys/ orangutans in additions to the diversity of the vegetation of wildlife.
once we reach the camp, you an enjoy the nice river water to fresh before the dinner, an authentic indonesian dinner.
For a 3 days trips on tracking.

we will spend two [2] ninghts in different campsite in the jungle. the first camesite is known a { CAMPING GROUND} which is close to the river crossing the mountain of the jungle.

and for the last day we go back to the site of {CAMPING GROUND} via another road , we will have launch there andthan continue ours trips into the jungle . at the end of the day three we will go back to the guesthouse.

Of course, you will have more chance to see : orangutans, thomas leaf monkeys, piq tail macaques white handed gibbons, siamangs, pigs, honey bears, sun deers , lesser mouse deers, fox fine, trengilings, birds, lizards, ceckos and etc.

I provide breakfast, lunch, little break dinner.

Included material : protection stocks, mattress, sleeping bag, leach socks ect....

For 4,5,6 days trips, on the tracking

You will need one guide and 1 or 2 porters to carry all the material and the food.

You gonna also enjoy of the hot spring, the waterfall and we will go till the lake Marpunga and white sands.

3 days to go and 3 days to came back .

You will have a chance to find the elephants or at least footprints of them, a lot of white handed gibbons, lar, siamangs or great gibbons, birds, thomas langur or thomas leaf monkeys, black giant squirrel, three-striped-ground squirrel, Hog Nosed Badger, lesser-malay mouse deer(planduk napu/pelanduk akar), sumatran serow(kambing hutan), rhinoceros hornbills, liards, butter fly, insects, grass hopper, cicadas,frogs,geckos,lantern butter fly, and all of the animals living deep in the forest.

and if you more lucky you can see wild tigers & wild Sumatran Rhinoceros

This trek is more difficult than the trek described above, the way is quite steep in part and it's going up and down.
