Reflecting on my roots in my hometown of Tucson Arizona, led me to investigate the cultural hybrid of border towns, where there has been so much divisiveness and intolerance in the area.

By mixing knits, woven textures, layers, and tones found in the desert landscapes, I evoke the richness of he cultural hybrid that makes us unique.
