Signed to Greentrax Recordings, Alex has released acclaimed albums including Jeelie Jars and Coalie Backies, The Brig Tae Nae Where and Doon Where The Glennie Burns. His music has been featured in historical exhibitions and special compilations, sitting proudly alongside the works of The Proclaimers, The Battlefield Band, and Aly Bain. His song The Reel John Bellany was included in a tribute album honoring the iconic Scottish artist, alongside legends such as The Corries and Phil Cunningham.

A two-time winner of Burnsong, an international songwriting competition celebrating Robert Burns, Alex has performed on some of Scotland’s most prestigious stages, including the Scottish Parliament and Balmoral Castle, where he entertained Queen Elizabeth II at her annual Ghillie’s Ball. His music has also taken him around the world, sharing the stories and soul of Scotland far beyond its borders.
