I am a social psychologist, focusing on the intersection of culture, ecology, and religion. My research dives into how these forces shape the way we think, feel, and act in our everyday lives using experiments, archival data, and large language models. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Michigan in the Emotion and Self-Control Lab. Outside of the lab, I build miniature furniture and organize my bookshelf.
My work is inspired by growing up abroad in a military family. I am currently on the hunt to see 30 countries by 2030 (currently: 23 out of 30).
