It was a pleasure to tell my career story about becoming an innovation manager combining my background in journalism and my education in Mathematics in a blog articale at Her Maths Story!

To inform and empower PhD students to transition from academia to industry, I was invited to be a panelist at the Career event of the Vienna School of Mathematics.

Did you know that only about 20 percent of the biographies on Wikipedia are portraying women?

Inspired by the project Women In Red we aim to change that and to increase the visibility of women mathematicians by writing, improving and/or translating Wikipedia articles about them. I'm leading a bi-monthly writing circle of volunteer authors in the name of A²WiM (Austrian Association of Women in Math) where we come together to discuss our work and help each other out.

To empower women, reach out to the general public about Math and promote all kinds of activities A²WiM (Austrian Association of Women in Math) hosts a channel on Twitter (X), LinkedIn and Facebook. I contribute content and ideas for post and I am co-managing the Twitter-channel.

I was invited to serve as a panelist on the panel discussion on "Empowerment and Outreach" at the conference 4th Austrian Day of Women in Math.

In the series doc schools meet... the VSM (Vienna School of Math) hosts an annual panel discussion about a hot topic together with the VDSP (Vienna Doctoral School of Physics).

I am a member of the organizing committee for the edition titled doc schools meet... ChatGPT in in Higher Education and Science  taking place on November 28, 2023, at 16:00 at the ESI Vienna (Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics).

With my colleague Anna Breger I brought the touring exhibition "Women in Mathematics from around the World" to the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna.

The opening of the exhibition was on 04/10/2023 at the Mathematical Colloquium with a gender talk by Brigitte Bischof.

Now the exhibition can be visted in the lecture halls 11 and 13, the seminar rooms 7-13 and the meeting room 2 of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1, 1090 Vienna.

To prepare Math PhD students for a career outside academia I initiated and co-organized (with the VSM Student Board) a 2-day Career Workshop in collaboration with the TU Career Center.

The second day also included the first edition of the VSM Career Talk, where current PhD students can meet and network with Math PhD Alumni.

For a series about Math on ORF Sience and Ö1, I was interviewed by Lukas Wieselberg about my research - all to be found in the article "Mathematik im Spiegelkabinett".

At the ESI Vienna (Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics) of the University of Vienna I co-hosted the 2023 edition of the annual Conference Geometric and Analyitic Group Theory and Applications (GAGTA)  about Groups and Dynamics.

I co-organized the Thrid Austrian Day of Women in Math, which is the annual A²WiM conference, that took place online on February 28. The event included three plenary talks, 20 contributed talks, a gender talk and a panel discussion.

I was invited to serve as a panelist on the panel discussion about DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) at the conference Young Geometric Group Theorists (YGGT) 11, where I led a discussion group about community work.

I was a member of the organizing committee for the edition titled doc schools meet...Science and Art – a desirable symbiosis? taking place on January 16, 2023, at 16:00 at the ESI Vienna (Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics).

For the project "Frauen in die Technik" organized by the Association Sprungbrett I visited High School and ran workshops for women students promoting STEM subjects.

The City of Vienna offers in collaboration with Interface Vienna the Summer City Camps during the summer break, which include tutoring classes for children. I designed and offered an 8 weeks long Math workshop in this program for students aged 10 to 14.
