About me
My pronouns are she/her, and most people call me Alex. I am based in Vienna, Austria and my first language is German.
I work as an Innovation Manager at UBIMET.
Until February 2024, I worked as a mathematician at the University of Vienna, where I'm currently also close to completing my PhD in Mathematics. Alongside my work, I'm committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Math and related STEM fields.
I have a degree in journalism and I worked for several media outlets, which has shaped my enthusiasm for interactive working environments and trained my communication skills. I am passionate about managing new projects and organizing events, whether they're about research, Math, social, or anything in between.
I'm always excited about fresh input and new ideas, so I'm happy to find your message in my inbox!
