Chosen Story Synopsis

Final Option is a refined PTSD girl story

The story opens the background noise of a news report saying she was found and unharmed with minor bruises. The girl is going about her normal life eg. travelling to school (maybe walking or the bus) sitting in a classroom, walking through the halls, eating her lunch, going home etc.. All while having mini flashbacks and little things triggering her. Such things as someone she walks past has a tie or accessory the same pattern as a different item of clothing. Maybe someone is whistling a tune that was playing during her kidnapping. Maybe someone is wearing the same shoes as her kidnapper. Maybe even something like her friend grabbing her arm to get her attention and it triggers a PTSD flashback to when she got grabbed and taken. Then she goes home and goes to sleep and suddenly she has a nightmare and a flashing array of images in her head but she wakes up and it's morning. She has a talk with her mother and suggests she goes to see the school therapist. She sits down with him but starts to notice small triggering cues and it comes to a close up of him smiling.
