Through my internship, I have been given the opportunity to contribute and learn from the Forvis Mazars mission through direct client work alongside esteemed colleagues.Â

My goals in selecting an internship were to learn more about reimbursment for providers as well as CMS regulations behind this. My internship has given me a front row seat as to how facilities are reimbursed as well as their organizational structures. My internship has also helped me gain technical skills in multiple softwares as well as Excel. I find my internship aligning with many of the courses from my program including Advanced Finance and Accounting and Chronic and Long Term Care Administration.
