Benin - It was interesting to me that the population on average is so young with median age of 18. It makes sense to me that most of the technology use is with mobile phones with the population so young.

India - I found it interesting that technology really took off in the country in the 1980s and that the government is so involved in spreading its capability.

This was a surprisingly difficult project. The individual parts were straightforward enough and my partner and I joined forces pretty early in the week. We both had started Unit 5 and thought it was a good match. I researched Benin, a country where I have ancestry so I wanted to know more about the technology use there. I was surprised to learn that most of the technology use is through mobile phones and not desktops. My partner chose India and we both added our individual parts to the the PowerPoint deck. However, that was not good enough and we did not have enough comparisons between the countries. We took another stab at it and each worked on the comparison slides to create the second version that we turned in.
