While my placement is unknown at the moment, I have a vision for my applied experience. I really hope to work in something related to educational leadership. Regardless of what I work in, I will be sure to give it my all and put my best foot forward. If I am to work in a traditional classroom setting, I will keep Eisner’s Three Curricula at play when interacting with students. I see this opportunity as exciting and enriching. What I want to keep at the forefront of this experience is my attitude towards it. I want to see the positives and the impact that comes from it. If I am to do research or community driven work, I will remember the research as conversation piece from B Educ 300. I will challenge myself to insert my thoughts and opinions in this experience. I will promote equity and healthy engagement within this space and with the others I work with. Even if I don’t work directly related to educational leadership, I hope to gain experience leading others in the community. I am very optimistic with my placement and hope to learn valuable skills and lessons. My vision is to keep an open mind and an open heart.
