Alessio Azzutti, LL.M. (Utrecht)

1988, ITALY - To be defined

A 'hybrid' academic researcher at the intersection of the scientific fields of Finance, Law, and Technology.

Currently a Research Associate at the Centre for Banking & Finance Law at the National University of Singapore and a PhD candidate in Law at Hamburg University, I've previously worked as a Research Associate in the 'Law, Finance and Technology' programme at the Institute of Law & Economics in Hamburg. I hold an LL.M. in Law and Economics from Utrecht University and an M.Sc. in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Florence.

My current research focuses on the implications of innovative technologies i.e. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within the ramification of algorithmic trading for the integrity and stability of global capital markets. More generally, I am interested in topics relating to the digitalisation of society and our economic systems. I'm proud to have contributed to several publications and presentations on these topics, and I'm excited to continue exploring the intersection of Finance, Law, and Technology in my research.

Outside my academic life, I love wandering around historical spots, enjoying traditional and authentic food, absorbing and rejoicing in the brightness of the Sun, and many other things.
