Hello and welcome to my website!
I am Associate Professor of economics at the GSSI Social Sciences and Fellow at CEIS Tor Vergata University.
My research primarily focuses on environmental economics, investigating the impact of externalities on economic development, health, labor, and the innovation process using causal inference methods.
I serve in the Editorial Board of the European Review of Agricultural Economics.
Before joining the GSSI, I held positions as a postdoctoral researcher at Tor Vergata University and Bocconi University, and as a visiting researcher at the Basque Center for Climate Change, CEMI-EPFL, and the UC San Diego Dept. of Economics.
I earned an MSc and a PhD in Environmental and Development Economics from Roma Tre University.
I actively collaborate with independent and intergovernmental research institutions, including FAO of the United Nations, World Bank, and Bank of Italy.
During my leisure time, I engage in ice and rock climbing and serve as a climbing instructor at the Paolo Consiglio Climbing School affiliated with the Italian Alpine Club. Landscape photography is my second hobby.
Enjoy my research works and pictures.
