Currently a student at Las Vegas Academy of Arts and a major in AP 2-D Design, Angelica Leopando, is also a Filipino mix media artist. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she pursues her interest in creativity, society, culture, mythology, and other aspects of life to portray through art. The way she expresses is by using her imagination and creative images in her head to portray the visual appearances of ideas, belief, thoughts, or visions to others and what she sees. Ever since she became a child of divorce in 2015 and as part of the minority group, Angelica has used her negative emotions to create artworks that bring more positive feelings and thus revealing her strength of using the evils for the good. Along with using pain and manipulating it to create pleasure and satisfaction. Whether it’s through traditional art, digital art, or through graphic design, she sets her goal in hopes of teaching the modern world about the different perspectives in life and to bring equality upon individuals. As she uses the internet to better present her artworks to the world and showing what she’s capable of to help others. Angelica plans to do her first commissions after graduating high school is set up for request.
