The Technical Career Day will take place in 3 rooms in the Alden High School Building.
Parking will be in the adjacent Alden Town Park lot, directly behind the Technology Wing.
Guests enter through the main entrance on Park Street with Photo ID. Special equipment transportation (unloading/loading) must be arranged with Allen Turton or Arthur Eggink in advance.
Room #1: Gym
Interview Tables
Representatives from local manufacturing businesses and Skilled Trades engage students in conversations about educational and career paths that lead to rewarding professions. Participants include the local skilled trades and business representatives listed under the panel discussions. Students will be able to move around the event based on their area of interest with the expectation that they are engaged in meaningful learning and discussion. Students may participate for 15 minutes or stay the entire day if their teachers give them permission.

Skilled Trades Workshops
Students participate in hands-on demonstrations with industry professionals.
Room #3: Room 131
Panel Discussion
Students ask a panel of 6 to 10 professionals questions related to education and career paths.
