I have had the privilege to provide guidance to exceptionally talented undergraduate and graduate students.
I have also been a teaching assistant in the general physics 1 course, where I enjoyed both guiding undergraduates during their first steps in the Technion and generating interest in physics among students from different departments.
Undergrads and Graduates Mentoring
2025 - present - Hannah Gruber - Main advisor of an undergraduate student from physics - astronomy program at the University of Arizona in an astrophysics research project about high energy neutrinos.
2024 - present: Christian Burt - Co-advisor of an undergraduate student from the astronomy department at the University of Arizona , in an astrophysics research project about mass transfer in massive stars. He is currently a PhD students at Heidelberg University.
2023- present: Lotem Unger - Main advisor of an undergraduate student from the physics-mathematics program at the Technion, in an astrophysics research project that I designed about post common envelope circumbinary disks. She is currently a physics (Astrophysics) master's student at the Technion. See resulting student-lead publication.
2023- 2024: Kaila Nathaniel - Co-advisor of a PhD candidate from the astrophysics department at Rochester Institute of Technology in an astrophysics research project about Thorne Zytkow objects that began during the Kavli Summer Program in Astrophysics. See resulting student-lead publication.
2022 - Technion Research Week: Teaching introduction to stellar astrophysics and supervising a mini-project for undergraduates students from different institutions that are interested in a Master’s in astrophysics. In collaboration with Dmitry Shishkin.
2020 - 2021: Coral Cohen - Co-advisor of an undergraduate student from the faculty of education at the Technion, in an astrophysics research project about stellar outflows that resulted in this publication. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in the faculty of electrical engineering in Bar Ilan university.
2016-2018: Yara Kasum and Daniel Vigdor - Co-advisor of two high school students during the Alpha Program -Future Scientists of the World in an astrophysics research project about morphologies of planetary nebulae.

MESA Schools
2025 - MESA Summer School KU Leuven: I was a lecturer at the 2025 MESA Summer School at KU Leuven. I gave the MESA Best Practice Lecture and co-developed a lab about debugging with Mathieu Renzo.
2024 - MESA Down School Under 2024: I formed part of the teaching team at the 2024 MESA Down Under School. Together with Jared Goldberg (lecturer), Ethan Winch and Annachiara Picco, I built lab materials to guide students through their first steps with MESA, focusing on the physics of evolved massive stars envelopes. You can find the webpage we built for the school and that continues serving the community in learning how to work with MESA here.
2020 - Independent MESA workshop: During my master's I designed and gave an introductory MESA workshop for five undergraduate students that started working on research projects with my advisor Prof. Noam Soker. The workshop included two theoretical sessions and two practical sessions.
