Diversity in opinions is a good thing. Just as tastes differ, so do eating habits. Alcydon respects everyone's choice in this regard. For its part, Alcydon has opted from the outset for the production and processing of vegan and organic products. This is a freedom that we grant ourselves based on sensible and supportive reasons.
We want to work closely with the FDA from the outset to ensure clarity and robustness of product quality and to meet the statutory criteria for general recognition of safety (GRAS).
Intensive collaboration with the FDA could contribute to efficient and targeted work towards specific nutritional and possibly medical properties of food products. The challenge, and one of our key objectives, is to also consider metabolic and physiological differences in gender, age and physical condition of everyone who wishes to use Alcydon products.
It is also one of our main efforts to align our production with the most current and relevant research and to adjust it where necessary in the interests of everyone who wishes to use Alcydon products.
As for the use of crop protection, we opt for natural solutions for our own production that must be able to demonstrate that they do not cause acute or chronic damage to humans and ecosystems and biotopes. As for suppliers, Alcydon invites them to follow the most current and relevant regulations.
It is not an obvious choice to opt for 100% vegan and organic. It is certainly a challenge to counter powerful, more industrial flavours. Of course, that is also a matter of getting used to it. Nevertheless, Alcydon wants to show that beautiful taste results can also be achieved with purely natural ingredients.
The use of natural resources as biostimulants (such as stinging nettle for example), with the potential to both protect crops from excessive pests and ensure healthy growth.
All products are based on biodynamically grown plants.
