Acoustic Instrument Recording
When your song is more of an acoustic composition, the instruments still need to fill up the mix and support the vocals. Alchemy Studios has the recording spaces, the right mics, and the experience to capture your sound. Whether it's a guitar, mandolin, sax, bass, harmonica, rhythm or percussion instrument, Alchemy knows how to get a great sound for you and your song.
The Acoustic Recording Process
<Almost anything is possible, a good take is always preferable but occasionally you may want to fix something. With acoustic recordings it's usually a good idea to record a "guide" track to play to. This way you can concentrate on the vocal and instrumental parts independantly. It also makes it much easier to "punch in" to fix a part or overdub. You can also record in a "live off the floor" style meaning that your vocal and instrument would be recorded together at the same time - just like you usually perform. .</p>
We can insert or overdub new parts, trade/exchange parts from one take to another, loop parts, adjust pitch and timing, whatever is needed to make your recording sound great!
