I am a FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the KU Leuven. I study the interplay between moduli spaces in algebraic geometry and their associated enumerative invariants.
Previously, I was a PhD student at the University of Sheffield. My thesis, on the relation between Gromov-Witten and quasimap invariants of toric varieties, was supervised by Dr. Cristina Manolache.
Moduli spaces of stable maps and their geometry.
Enumerative geometry, (reduced) Gromov-Witten and quasimap invariants.
Relative and log geometry.
Toric geometry.
p-adic topology and tilings of trees.
I have just started a FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellowship at KU Leuven.
My paper Higher genus reduced Gromov--Witten invariants via desingularizations of sheaves, with Etienne Mann, Cristina Manolache and Renata Picciotto, has been accepted for publication at Geometry & Topology.
My paper The local/logarithmic correspondence and the degeneration formula for quasimaps, with Cristina Manolache and Qaasim Shafi, has been accepted for publication at the Journal of the Institute of Mathematics of Jussieu. We prove new simple normal crossings cases of the local/logarithmic correspondence for Gromov–Witten invariants using a degeneration formula for quasimaps, which we have developed. This is joint work with Cristina Manolache and Qaasim Shafi.
In my new preprint Irreducible components of moduli spaces of maps to smooth projective toric varieties in genus 0, with Eienne Mann, we describe the irreducible components of moduli spaces of stable maps to toric varieties in genus 0 combinatorially in terms of dual graphs decorated with curve classes in. We give concrete examples for the blow-up of P^2 in a point.
