I'm a Ph.D student in Mathematics at the University of Pisa, under the supervision of Prof. Marco Moraschini (University of Bologna).
Previously I completed my Bachelor and Master in Mathematics at the University of Pisa. I discussed my Bachelor thesis titled "Prodotti liberi e quasi-isometrie" (supervised by Prof. Roberto Frigerio) in October 2021, and I discussed my Master these titled "Simplicial volume and affine manifolds" (under the supervision of Prof. Marco Moraschini) in September 2024. During this time, I was awarded a full scholarship at Scuola Normale Superiore.
I'm interested in topological and geometric invariants for manifolds. In particular my research is focused on simplicial volume, minimal volume entropy, and (generalized) amenable category.
The International Young Seminar on Bounded Cohomology and Simplicial Volume, a self-describing event I currently organize with Franziska Hoffman and Giuseppe Bargagnati.
A series of informal talks on classical results and reserch topics organized by Ph.D students in Pisa, including me. Check the schedule if you're around!
