LupisVulpes (LV) was an animator and illustrator primarily posting on YouTube and Twitter until 2020. She was very big in the furry fandom and she started her journey as an artist around 2010 when she uploaded her first video. During this time, she produced a few fan-made videos of a book series, Warriors but more commonly known as Warrior Cats, and then primarily produced speedpaints, artworks, original animations, and animation memes with her original characters.
In 2014, LV uploaded the pilot video to a series that would become her most notable work. Audience followed the story of Litho, an amputee dog, and his friends but unfortunately, most of the information about the show is lost due to Audience being cancelled. It is rumoured that LV refused to pay her voice actors + music producer, ChaoticCanineCulture [CK9C], which resulted in the cancellation of the project. She still continued to produce animations after this point, developing her art style until it looked completely separate from her old works.
LV's art style has changed a lot over the past few years, it feels much less expressive but also more colourful. She seems happy with her art at least, which is what matters.
Unfortunately she does not make content anymore, due to a controversy where she was revealed to be homophobic and transphobic hence why I do not support her anymore.
Without LupisVulpes' influence, I doubt that I would have become an artist in general. Her work is still a huge inspiration to me, even now, and although I no longer support her or her work I still find myself looking back on her old pieces. Her work got me back into animal art during the 2020 quarantine, it helped me find my passions again and I am ever thankful for that.
The Fable trilogy is a game series initially created by Lionhead Studios, but after the company's dissolution it was taken up by Playground Games.
I have only played the second and third game, not the first, so I will only be mentioning those two games in particular. I will also mention the upcoming fourth game, which I am looking forward to.
Fable II is the first game of the series I picked up as a child. Released in 2008, it follows the story of the protagonist, nicknamed Sparrow, and their journey from a pauper to royalty after defeating the corrupt leader.
The game takes place in the same setting as the first game, but 500 years later. This time the setting is in the colonial era and large castles and cities have developed in the place of towns.
Even though this game is so old, I think it still holds up to being amazing. The game mechanic where your appearance changes based on your morality is incredibly cool, even down to how your dog changes.
Fable III is arguably my favourite game in the series. Released in 2010, it is set around 50 years after the second game and takes place in more of an industrial revolution-esque era.
This time, you are already royalty as this character is the child of your character in Fable II. Your brother, Logan, is king after the loss of your royal parent. The first half of the game involves the player trying to take him down as he is a corrupt and evil ruler, the reason why is revealed later in the game.
The second half of the game shows exactly why Logan was so bad, an evil force from Aurora called The Darkness is trying to destroy Albion. The player has to decide how to react to it, taking a 'good' route but possibly losing all of your people or taking the 'evil' route like Logan and becoming a feared and hated ruler, but still having your citizens alive and safe.
Not much is particularly known about this new instalment of the series. It was teased in 2018, with a trailer finally releasing in 2020.
Despite how little we know about Fable IV, I am still very much looking forward to the production of the game and hopefully I can find a way to closely follow the development of my absolute favourite game series.
