There is currently only one reason why I still have the Logos & Olive Tree Bible Study apps on my iPhone. When I copy and paste text from any bible translation the verse numbers never carry over with Accordance.
I have been using the above method of selecting and copying to include the verses for so long now that i can resist getting out the mbp for as long as possible as i still do virtually everything on the ipad. now im showing headings while im reading, i find it is very easy to include the first verse number as i select the heading first.

I use this as a backdrop for looking at the various Bible memory apps available in 2023, to encourage you that you can use one app, or another, or even go tech free, and as long as God is in it, you can still memorize Bible verses.
The Bible Memory app makes it very easy to add verses or chapters to memorize, and then to quickly move on to the actual memorization part, thus removing a lot of the organization burdens of large memory projects. This burden removal also includes the implementation of a spaced-repetition system once a verse has been memorized.
The app itself is free to use for a fixed number of verses, but after that requires purchase. The cost is not large and it well worth it if you are currently memorizing large amounts of scripture. The purchase also unlocks greater functionality.
The app has many features present in other apps such as a scripture typer tool and a word bluring tool, to gradually conceal more and more words in a verse. Additionally, there are some unique features of this app, such as the ability to listen to audio of the verse being read out and showing the first letter of every word as a memory prompt.
I have never used this personally as there appears to be no free version, but have known a few people to use it. The app comes with a number of Bible Memory plans, which give a more structured approach to learning verses. The memory plans include verses to memorize and give you a time frame (such as weekly).

Very cool to have the bible on my wrist... However I'm not sure how much utility it offers since it doesnt store the passages for offline reading. If my phone is nearby for sending text data to the watch app (with its own full-featured bible handy), then for what reason will I opt to use the small watch version? I was hoping to have quick access to any text of the bible even when my phone isn't nearby. I'll absolutely revise this to 5-stars if this feature becomes available.
Hi, thank you for your review. One really cool feature of this app is the "Faves" page. You can select up to 5 passages to add as your "Faves." Once you've viewed these once, they are download to the watch for offline usage. This can be helpful for memorizing Scripture or quickly viewing an important verse/chapter. The "Faves" Page should be able to handle up to 500 verses, as long as your watch can store that much data (music watch, or later models). I hope this helps!
