The Percussive Arts Society's 50th International Convention was amazing! Seeing all these many university ensembles and professional percussionists performing and giving seminars was life-changing. To add on top of that, the performance of John Luther Adams's "Inuksuit" was also a success. We, the UAF percussion ensemble, also brought the "Inu Yupiaq" dance group to show the culture that inspired JLA's work. It was overall a fun and very educational experience.
