I am a development economist, with a dual appointment as Senior Quantitative Researcher for the Young Lives Study at the University of Oxford (Oxford, UK), and Senior Researcher (Investigador Principal) at Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (Lima, Peru). I am also the PI of the Young Lives Study in Peru, known as the Niños del Milenio cohort study. I am currently based in London.

I hold a Dphi in Economics and an MSs in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.

My main research is focused on studying the causes and consequences of investments in human capital (nutrition & health, education, skills) over the life-course in the context of low-and-middle-income countries. Part of my research is also linked to impact evaluation, using experimental and quasi-experimental techniques.

My long-term affiliation is with GRADE. Before joining GRADE, I worked at the Central Bank of Peru, the last two years in the Economic Research Division.
