Dr. Alan Raines is a nonprofit executive and strategic leader recognized for scaling mission-driven organizations through disciplined growth, high-impact fundraising, and cross-sector partnerships. From 2022–2025, Dr. Raines served as Executive Director of One Man’s Treasure, a Dallas-based nonprofit serving men reentering society after incarceration. Under his leadership, the organization experienced transformational growth—tripling its operating budget from $200,000 to more than $650,000, securing over $2 million in contributed resources, and expanding services to reach more than 3,500 individuals annually. During this period, the organization sustained approximately 25% year-over-year growth while strengthening its operational infrastructure and long-term sustainability.
Dr. Raines led all aspects of organizational strategy, including fundraising, donor cultivation, board partnership, and external engagement. He served as the organization’s primary spokesperson, building relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders to increase visibility, trust, and long-term support.
Dr. Raines positioned One Man’s Treasure as a leading regional partner in reentry services, establishing and strengthening relationships with more than 40 institutions across North Texas. These included county reentry coalitions, transitional centers, juvenile detention systems, and nonprofit service providers.
Through intentional collaboration, he integrated the organization into a broader ecosystem of rehabilitation and reentry support—ensuring that services were not only accessible, but coordinated, scalable, and responsive to community need. His leadership helped elevate the organization from a local resource to a trusted partner within the regional reentry infrastructure.
A key driver of growth under Dr. Raines’s leadership was the expansion of corporate partnerships and in-kind support. He cultivated relationships with national brands—including Bombas, Fruit of the Loom, Mizzen+Main, J. Hilburn, and Red Wing Shoes—resulting in significant contributions of new clothing to support program participants.
In 2024 alone, these partnerships generated approximately $995,000 in in-kind donations. Across his tenure, Dr. Raines secured more than $2 million in contributed resources, demonstrating a strong capacity to align corporate engagement with mission impact and organizational growth.
