Thank you, Specials Teachers!

SEPTEMBER 17, 2023

Huge thanks for your continued support of our dinner fundraisers. Our recent Texas Roadhouse night earned us $152, and our latest Zaxby's night raised $318! Speaking of Zaxby's... Congratulations to Ms. Mayle's class for clinching the Sixth Grade Competition win and earning themselves a catered lunch! Next month, it will be the Fifth Grade's turn to compete on October 17th. We hope to see you there!

This week, the PTO is hosting a drive benefiting our own ACS Food Pantry! The ACS Food Pantry provides individually wrapped, single serving fruit cups, granola bars, muffins, crackers, pasta cups, nuts, and more for teachers to pass out to students who may need breakfast or a snack during the school day. They also identify ACS families in need of assistance, and send home complete meals, canned goods, pantry essentials, breakfasts, lunch items, and toiletries each week.

To participate in the Coyotes Care Drive, send your children to school any day this week (September 18-22) with bagged items to turn in to their teacher in the morning. Any donations of shelf-stable foods or hygiene products are greatly appreciated! Thank you for helping us stock the pantry!

SEPTEMBER 10, 2023

Zaxby's Night this Tuesday, September 12 at the Graham location on 501 S Main Street! All purchases made between 5:00-8:00pm in the restaurant, at the drive-thru, or in the app will earn the ACS PTO 10% cash back; no need to even mention the school when you order! How easy is that!?

This month's Zaxby's Night will also be our first grade-level competition! We invite Coyotes in all grades to come out for the dinner fundraiser, but the competition will be between the SIXTH GRADE classes! To participate: Get your order however you'd like, then come inside of the restaurant to pick up a blank slip of paper from the competition table. Write your sixth grader's name on the slip, drop the slip into the corresponding teacher's cup, and the PTO will take care of the rest! The winning class will earn themselves and their teacher a catered lunch from Zaxby's delivered right to the school. Who will have a higher turn out, Ms. Herman or Ms. Mayle? Don't worry, every grade will have their chance to compete! Good luck to both classes!
