FINALS INFO

Below is everyone's total for finals. If you are using Venmo, please put your child's name in the notes as well as "finals payment". If you use Venmo for their Childersburg fees as well, PLEASE SEND AS SEPERATE TRANSACTIONS. It helps us on our send so much to do this.  If you are paying at Childersburg for finals, you can pay cash or with a check. 

Other finals info:  We do not pay back at finals. All fees collected for finals goes toward paying for the facility and year end prizes. In order to compete at finals your child must have competed in at least 1/2 of the rodeos for the year in the event they choose to compete in at finals. For the Rookie All Around, your child must be competing in more than one event at finals.  

A more detailed schedule will be sent out soon but the overall schedule is:

Wednesday - Queen and Princess Competition

Thursday - Check in and Mandatory meeting - FULL WESTERN ATTIRE- Rodeo at 10 - 8th grade dinner after round 1

Friday - Rodeo at 10 - General membership meeting and General Membership Awards Presentation - FULL WESTERN ATTIRE - Announce top 10 in each event and draw for positions in barrels and poles (your child must have points and be in the top 10 in that event to compete on Saturday).

Saturday - Short go at 10 - Awards presentation about 2 hours after conclusion of rodeo - FULL WESTERN ATTIRE

POINTS ARE DOUBLED AT FINALS - ONLY THE TOP 10 IN EACH EVENT GO TO THE SHORT GO.  AFTER THE SHORT GO AVERAGE POINTS WILL BE APPLIED. 

Any questions about finals, please ask ahead of time.  Stalls and RV hookups will be assiged soon and they will be posted here. DO NOT CHANGE STALLS. If you want to move RV hook-ups - that is not a problem as long as you do not take up someone else's place.  There is plenty of room at Andalusia to spread out.   

I am currenlty working on the ad book and a preliminary viewing of it will be posted on our website for members to double check (hopefully over the weekend - I am sorry guys on the delay but I have been so busy I am not sure if I lost a horse or found a rope!!!!)

*****Update on 8th grade slide show - Georgia Cauthen has gractiously volunteered to put together the 8th grade slide show - Parents of 8th graders, please send to her 5-6 pictures of your child (I would say baby picture and then of course more current pictures. Please email them to georgiacauthen@gmail.com  Please do this by May 9th!!    *****
