Purpose of Student Council

Student Council provides our youth an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out youth events and service projects.

MashAllah its members actively plan and carry out many tasks. They have designed a logo for our group, made flyers for various programs and events, created and manage various social media platforms for the youth group, organized fundraisers, and working on organizing many upcoming events. May Allah(SWT) guide them and bring them success both in this life and hereafter. Ameen. Please get to know who these amazing ladies and gentlemen are!

Student Council Members

Razeen Moffat:

Shahana Khan: I have actively participated in the masjid youth groups and organizations in Texas that promote an interfaith environment, and I have also contributed to the Muslim Student organization by leading it in high school due to my interests in building a stronger and a friendly Islamic community. My journey of participating in such organizations has continued through Schaumburg as I am joining the Al huda youth council. Being part of the council, I would like to motivate other youth to build a stronger community!

Jamal Uddin: I am going to be starting my first year of college at Harper college. I am passionate at helping others in anyway that I can and I'm great at writing and I love to fix computer issues. I am joining this group so that I can inn sha Allah help the masjid in any way that I can.

Javid Uddin: I'm a sophomore at Palatine High School and I'm passionate at computer design and development. I joined this group so I could be an active member of the AlHuda community.

Umaimah Khan: I’m a Schaumburg High School student. I’m graduating with class of 2019. I joined student council for the youth program because at SHS I did student council there. So I thought it would be neat to do it for our Muslim community and help out.

Rida Mohammed: I am going to be a junior in high school. I joined the youth group last year; I believe it is a fun, yet informative program for Muslim youth. This is the biggest reason why I wanted to be a part of the council. I love being involved in the community, and this is a wonderful cause. Rabia Fatima: I am a junior at Hoffman High School. I joined this youth Student Council so I could help the mentors and coordinators create a more fun and educational place for the youth

Shazia Fatima: I am a freshman at hoffman estates high school. I joined the student council so I could help spread dawah by Helping planning activities for our community.

Aliza Moffat: I’m a freshman at Conant High School in Schaumburg. I love to hang out with my friends, bake, cook, and organize. I also love to help organize events and help run things which is why I joined the Masjid Al-Huda student council.

Bisma khan I am a freshman at Schaumburg High school.Allah tells us in Surah Nahl "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instructions". With the help of my Great Mentors I would like to contribute the best to my community. Hence I am joining the Student council.
