The APFA annual festival brings together stakeholders in the swine industry in Akwa Ibom State and beyond to celebrate, review the current year, discuss the way forward for the state's swine industry, and set the agenda for the new year. 

The maiden edition of the event, tagged "Akwa Ibom Pig Farmers End-of-Year Get-together," held in Uyo on November 23, 2024, attracted resource persons from the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, academia, and the industry.
