Akua Agyekumwaa is an emerging filmmaker and the visionary behind Agyekumwaa Studios, a production company committed to promoting mental health awareness and empowering black women through the art of storytelling. As a passionate film student specializing in fiction filmmaking, Akua brings her creative vision to life through stories that advocate for underrepresented voices.

Agyekumwaa Studios also extends its mission through a dynamic social media presence. Currently, the studio manages two TikTok accounts:

• @She_gotgame, which celebrates female athletes, particularly focusing on WNBA stars Angel Reese and A'ja Wilson, and has garnered 67.1K followers.

• @wnba_fashion, a new account that highlights the fashion styles of women in basketball, with a growing following of 1,036 TikTok users.

In addition to her work in film and social media, Akua has played a pivotal role in managing the digital platforms for Adehyee 2000 Plus, the alumni group of her high school, where she serves as the Communications and PR Director. Under her leadership, the group has cultivated a strong online presence, including:

• A Facebook page with 3.5k likes and 5.2k followers

• A Facebook group with 2.6k members

• An Instagram page with 1,407 followers

• An X (formerly Twitter) page with 2,989 followers

• A YouTube channel with 146 subscribers.
