About Akshay Pandith

Akshay Pandith is a Kannada author and storyteller, currently based in Bangalore, where he also works as a Senior Engineering Manager. 

His debut short story collection, Bayalali Teluta Taanu (ಬಯಲಲಿ ತೇಲುತ ತಾನು), was published in 2021 by Sankathana. The book received several prestigious honors:

- Karnataka Sahitya Academy – Madhura Chenna Datti Prashasti (Writer’s First Independent Book / Lekhakara Modala Swatantra Kruti).

- Ee Hottige Award (2021).

- Panju Award (Best Short Story Collection of 2021).

Akshay’s stories have also won prizes in major Kannada short story competitions, including Book Brahma and Vijaya Karnataka Katha Spardhe.
