Within the department, after the screening of Long Day's Journey Into Night, students engaged in a post-viewing exercise by performing selected excerpts from Eugene O’Neill’s acclaimed play of the same name. This activity allowed them to delve deeper into the themes, characters, and emotional intensity of the work, enriching their understanding of O’Neill’s dramatic vision.
As part of their study of Neo-Classical literature, students recited poetry reflecting the major themes explored by Robert Burns and Thomas Gray.
As part of their Film Studies coursework, students create a video analyzing various cinematic techniques, including visual effects, camera angles, different shot compositions, and the use of a green screen. This activity enhances their critical understanding of filmmaking and screen analysis.
