There has always been something so magical to me about being able to capture a person in the space between moments. Between them posing or feeling awkward in front of a camera when I can get them to laugh and feel like themselves. Those shots are unlike any other poised photoshoot in my opinion. They are the magic between moments: when a person is exactly who they are no matter who is watching and are unapologetically themselves. Capturing those moments in timeless stills that can be savored for decades and passed on for generations is what ignites a fire in my heart to go out and do it all over again.
