Annual Cycle - climate data for each day of the year
Define years for historical range
Include historical climate? – Toggle if climate history is shown on the figure.
Starting Year/Ending Year – If climate history is shown, these are the starting and ending years for which the historical climate is defined. The default Earliest to Latest shows the entire climate history for the region queried by the user.
Minimum number of stations – The figure does not display data from any day where the number of stations in the region that are recording data is less than this minimum value. For example, if this value is set to 2, any day with only one station recording data is not included in the figure. This feature can be used to avoid spurious comparisons of single station values to multi-station averages.
Plot individual year
Include individual year? – Toggle if data for an individual year is shown on the figure.
Year Displayed – Select any individual year from within the available data.
Show individual date? – Toggle if an individual date is highlighted on the figure. If True, choose the date from the dropdown menus. Use "Offset" to move label up or down.
For Tmax and Tmin only: Extras
Include info for year? – Displays total number of days in individual year that are above and below the mean for the specified period of climate history. Requires both historical range and individual year to be set to True.
For Rain and Snow only: What type of rainfall/snowfall data?
Select type – Choose between three types of rainfall data: 1) All days (all recorded days of rainfall, including days with zero accumulation), 2) Rain days (all days where non-zero rainfall accumulation occurred), and 3) Wettest N Days (the specified number of wettest days for each day of the year in recorded history).
N days (if selected) – If “Select type” is “Wettest N Days”, this sets the value of N. For example, a value of 5 will display the 5 wettest days for each day of the year (ex. Jan. 1, Jan. 2, etc.) in recorded history.
