Welcome to AJ Ranch Australian Shepherds, where quality, care, and connection come first.
We’re a small, family-based breeder dedicated to raising exceptional Toy and Mini Australian Shepherds—intelligent, healthy, and full of heart. Our mission is to provide families with lifelong companions that are as healthy and well-adjusted as they are beautiful.

Every one of our puppies is family raised, never inbred, and carefully socialized from birth. We believe early experiences shape lifelong temperaments, which is why we go above and beyond to give each puppy the best possible start—through hands-on care, enrichment, and exposure to everyday life.

To ensure the perfect fit between pup and person, we use our Puppy Personality Matching process. Each puppy completes a series of temperament tests around seven weeks old, and we pair them with families based on lifestyle, experience, and household dynamics. This helps prevent mismatches and ensures every pup grows up in a loving, compatible home.

Our breeding dogs are carefully selected for genetic health, sound conformation, and outstanding temperaments. We do not inbreed and proudly offer an option for a Lifetime Money-Back Health Guarantee against serious inherited diseases.

We believe in transparency and responsible breeding. You can meet our parent dogs during Puppy Open Days, and we’re happy to assist with safe interstate or international transport for qualified owners.
