We recommend that you book as early as possible to make sure you get your preferred day and time slot. If you would like a time slot outside of opening hours, don't hesitate to get in touch with us on 07487 682228, and we'll try to accommodate you as best we can.
The fastest and easiest way to book any treatment is online via the Book Now option on our website or via other Book Now options on Google, Instagram or Facebook, where you will be directed to our Fresha booking system. Alternatively, you can call Austin on 07487 682228 and leave a message, which will hopefully be answered within 24 hours.
At A J Healing, we operate a 24-hour cancellation policy to change or modify your appointment. Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged at 50% of the total booking. If less than 4 hours' notice is given, 50% will be taken, and a further 50% deposit will be required for your rescheduled appointment.
Please inform us as soon as possible as this may affect your treatment time. 100% of your treatment cost will be charged if you are late.
No, you do not need to be completely undressed; you undress only to your comfort level, and towels will be used to cover up parts of the body not being worked on. It is advisable to wear shorts to your treatment if you're having a full or lower body treatment, but not necessary.
Sports and Deep Tissue Massage may cause slight discomfort as we work to relieve built-up muscle tension; however, it should always be within your tolerance level. If you have a preference for pressure for your treatment, then please do speak to your therapist prior to or during your treatment so we can make sure your experience is as comfortable as possible.
It is recommended to rehydrate after treatments, drinking plenty of fluids for the following 24 to 48 hours to help flush out toxins released during your treatment. If you have any concerns after treatment, don't hesitate to contact us.
Treatment frequency can vary depending on your pain and symptoms. At A.J Healing, our goal is always to resolve your issues as quickly and effectively as possible. For acute injuries, we typically recommend 1–2 sessions in the first week, followed by another 1–2 sessions over the next 4 weeks to support recovery.
We also believe strongly in preventative care, helping you avoid problems before they become painful. Many clients choose to book maintenance sessions every 2, 4, or 6 weeks, depending on their lifestyle and activity levels. This approach keeps your body moving well and reduces the risk of future flare-ups.
