I also work as an organiser and moderator for readings, literary panels and local history events. Please reach out if you would like to collaborate on something!
Literary
From 2022 to 2023, as part of the partnership between Dussmann English Bookshop and The Berliner, I have co-run and co-moderated a series of readings dedicated to international Berlin authors (e.g. Lauren Oyler, Adrian Duncan, Sharon Dodua Otoo). We covered topics such as "Berlin from below", spy fiction, football in East Berlin, translating from the margins, émigré literature and more. The series is now kaput, but could easily be revived somewhere else...
I have also moderated book launches and panels for the Internationales Literaturfestival Berlin (ILB), the Irish Embassy in Berlin, Penguin Modern Classics, Two Lines Press, Curious Fox, and Arnarson-Sehmer Gallery among others. I've read my work around the place and I've discussed it on panels, podcast, and radio (ABC, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Spaßbremse). And I curated a literary symposium/festival in early 2025 about Berlin's Antipodean literature as part of the Berliner Literarische Aktion PARATAXE series.
Finally, I have been co-organising a series of events that pay creative and critical tribute to German-language authors in Berlin—first was Joseph Roth, then came Friederike Mayröcker, and then Walter Benjamin. Stay tuned for updates about Christa Wolf in Spring 2026.
Historical
In Australia, I co-organised a series of history/arts events in collaboration with various local Inner West Sydney institutions. At Addison Road Community Center, we produced and installed an audio heritage trail; we also held events about Australian peace movements and about the lost waterways of Marrickville Valley. For AIRspace Projects, I supported an exhibition on local sweatshops by performing research into the area's industrial and migration history, including interviews with historical eyewitnesses, ultimately generating a catalogue essay and a small history museum space adjacent to the art installations. I would love to work on further collaborative projects at the intersection of history, interpretation, and community.
