Korean Online Film Friday

Korean Online Film Friday is a recreational activity done to make sure that Lasallians spend more leisure time at the end of school days by participating in binge watching parties with Korean movies. Korean Online Film Friday (KOFF) is a one day event showcasing a Korean film for both the appreciation and entertainment of AJA Animo members. The film that will be shown is an action-comedy film called “Extreme Job”.

REINCARNATE: South Korean Appreciation Week

South Korean Appreciation Week is a week-long activity aiming to break barriers and show more than just Korean entertainment and bring appreciation to the overall beauty of Korean culture. Reincarnate brings awareness to the organization’s vision and mission through activities such as film-viewing, cultural facts, food tutorials, seminars, and singing & dancing. By connecting with other organizations and corporate partnerships, this activity is an opportunity to build relationships within the community while sharing the culture and Hallyu of South Korea. The theme reincarnate puts emphasis on the start of a new year and lights a flame as we celebrate the richness of Korean culture.

Hangeul with You Phase 1: Introduction to Hangeul and Learning the Basics

Hangeul With You is a two-day Korean language webinar-workshop brought to you by AJA Animo’s Cultural Affairs Department which is open to all, especially to Aja Animo members who want to learn about the basics of the Korean language being applied to Hallyu! We'll be giving a short overview on the language itself, paired together with some tips and tricks on how to best learn a language on your own or with your friends!

AJA on a Mission

AJA on a Mission is a termly activity that enables the members to get to know about the organization's plan for the whole term. Through this, the officers will get to know AJA Animo's members and showcase the planned activities set for the term 2 AY 2020-2021. This can also encourage the members to participate in the upcoming events of the organization. Aside from this, the event can help the members meet new people and create more bonds with people of similar interests.

Hangeul with You: Phase 2

Hangeul with You: Phase 2 is the second installment of the Hangeul with You series. The one-day webinar imparts the attendees with some basic Korean phrases that you always hear on K-Dramas or Korean Music that you may also use when you travel to South Korea or dining it at your favorite Korean restaurant.

This can also encourage the members to participate in the upcoming events of the organization. ARUGA: A Self-Care Campaign

Aruga is a self-care publicity campaign that serves as a reminder about the importance of setting aside time to take care of ourselves. The campaign aims to promote developing routines that would enable us to practice self-care and nuture our well-being in our own little ways.

ALL ACCESS: AJA Animo Members Week

All Access: AJA Animo Members Week is a weeklong event where AJA shows their appreciation to the ever-supportive members of the organization.

AJA in Sync was created with the celebration and appreciation of the South Korean and Filipino cultural ties in mind. Made possible through various performances showcasing both cultures with different genres of performances and presentations coming from a variety of organizations.

AJA Unwind: Rewind and Reconnect

In collaboration with the Lasallian Pastoral Office (LSPO), the organization's first spiritual event entitled, "AJA Unwind: Rewind and Reconnect" will allow members and officers to form and strengthen their spiritual bond with self-reflections, meditation, and the like during these trying times.

The Epilogue: AJA Animo Annual Turnover Ceremony

The AJA Animo Annual Turnover Ceremony is where the organization commemorates their achievements for the year and to formally welcome the new set of officers for the upcoming academic year. Likewise, the event is also where outgoing and incoming AJA officers bond as the year ends.
